Vladimir Yakovlevich Propp: - was a Russian scholar who analyzed the basic plots of Russian folk stories.  His functions of analyzing stories were through characters commonly found in fairy tales.  His concept of narrative has been seen in some music videos from artist today. Though some don’t sick to the actual theme of Princess, Villain and Hero, they have elements of the fairy tale structure. For example Katy Perry California Gurls, She took idea of teddy and rainbow and animated them to suit the narrative concept of the video.
