Rough Cut

Our teachers had viewed the rough cut of our music video and told us to do the followings,
  • To add a fade into the begging of the music video and a fade out at the end.
  • At the middle of the music video we had a shot lasting 30 seconds, we had to cut it to different shots on each beat.
  • On our last verse of the music video our lip-synching was out of place so we had to fix that.
After we had done these corrections our music video turned out to be good.

Rough Cut Anaylsis

Rough Cut

The usic video was anaylsised by or teacher and we got a list of corrections that needed to be made. These are the following:-

  • Lip Synching- The lip-synching was a major problem that needed to be fixed; only in the location Camden passage.

  • Effects- We was told to add a transition at the start of the music video; and a fade out early at the ending of the song.

  • Cuts- When editing Camden passage, we was to told cut on the beat clearly.

Rough Cut-Analysis

When our music video was looked at there were somethings that we were told to change. The beginning needed to  have a fade in and some parts of the end need to be put in synch. The overall look of the music video was very good, but we just needed to add more cuts to the middle part of the video as the shots were too long. Hopefully when the edits are made it will make the music video better.

Teacher feedback

Hello Group 33
Your blog is looking great - well done.  What I would now like to see is some of the photos that you've taken while you've been filming.  Carefully select (rather than sticking them all up!) some photos and explain briefly why you chose to film there and why, or why you didn't film there even though you'd intended to.  Keep up the good work.
